We have a lot of traditions at the JAOO conference party. Every year we use the same cook, Chili-John, invite the same (all girl) band and have a lot of sponsored free beer. This year is different. We have a new cook and we invited a DJ, but we kept the free beer.
The food this year will be from the restaurant Mefisto and we already had a taste test of the menu using our own software developers as guinea pigs. We even wrote a blog post about it and posted pictures. We hope you’ll like the food as much as we did.
Every year we discuss how the conference party should be. Some people prefer a party where you can talk to the other participants over a few beers and some people prefer a party where you can dance and listen to great music. Usually we have a big band for the people that want to dance after dinner and a separate place for the people that want to talk in a room next to the big party. This year we are trying something completely different with at DJ as background music, but at a sound level that will let you talk to the other participants.
Because of the JAOO Today Matchmaking competition there is also a JAOO Today bar with special JAOO drinks.
